Sophomore year is coming to an end. It's time to pull my academic life together. It's so time and energy consuming; Planning I mean. So many decisions and time is running out.

I hope I know within the next few years what I'm going to do. Medical path for now. Curse the stereotypical path.

This year's DCON was held at Anaheim. My home club slept at the Hitlon and there are a bunch of gift shops in the lobby. One store has these...charms? I don't know what to call them. So there were keys with words like "Success" or "Laughter" or "Hope" written on them. I was walking with two freshies and they wanted to get it since we're in KEY club.

Slightly corny but sure why the heck not. I got a key with Happiness written on it. Despite me being in key club, I have another reason for choosing Happiness. I mean, there's a saying that points out that your happiness is in your hands. You are in charge of your happiness. So the key of my happiness is me of course. It made a lot more sense and seemed a lot less lame in my head.

Moving on.

Next to those keys were little silver tokens saying stuff like "Massage Token" On the back it says Good for one massage. It's kind of cute. I got that one for my mother LOL. I also got a Hug token for a friend and myself; as well as a Wish Token. Not sure what I'm going to do with it though. I guess I can load them into a necklace. Hm.

So, there's this little bunch of gorgeous flowers that have been laying on the steps outside my place for a couple of days now. The first time I saw them I thought someone dropped them accidentally or whatever.

It's been around 2-3 days already and it's still sitting there. The strange thing is that it hasn't expired yet. It's still has that lovely color but it doesn't look like it's fake either.

I'm really tempted to pick it up but it looks like something that should be left untouched.

Since I'm going to DCON this weekend, I guess I'll have to see if it will still be there on Sunday night.

So. I've been organizing my iTunes and my iPhone's music for the past 2-3 hours. Not exaggerating. This is getting frustrating. 16 GB is NOT enough for music. Even my iTouch (32 GB) barely makes the cut. They need to make an affordable iPod that has around 100 GB worth of memory.

Either that or I'm going to revive my ancient iPod. It has 120 GB but is too chunky to carry around.

I'll consider it.

Reading that death post in the first page of my blog reminds me of something I've read.

I recently read a short story called Reaper (It's free for kindle ;D)

The concept of dying is that you can't avoid it. It's no one's fault. Say you were involved in someone's death. You are merely the instrument of the death but not the true cause. If someone is meant to die on that certain date, no matter what you do, he/she will still die. If you were not there to take part in that person's death, he/she would've died another way anyway.

Does that make sense?

Listening to Fefe's As a Blonde, it strikes me that majority of people like brunettes better now, just to fight the cliche of blondes being the "prettier ones".
