So there's this event on Facebook called Chase Community Giving. It saddens and infuriates me to know that foundations such as the Akshaya Patra Foundation are deprived of the chance to get some money because foundations like the AEF exist.

Yes, I know AEF is running low on money and it needs money to save teachers. But teachers always have the chance of finding other jobs. The Akshaya Patra Foundation gives underprivileged children food and education. The Arcadia foundation has over 1.5K votes while The Akshaya foundation has only 250+. I am so tempted to make a buttload of Facebook mules.

This is just so shameful. The Akshaya foundation is most likely not the only foundation being deprived of the chance to receive money. The world depresses me.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is the world's largest NGO-run midday meal program, feeding 1.3 million children each day in over 8,000 schools through 18 kitchens in 8 states in India. So last night, my mom and I wasn't sure where to go for dinner. But then, my mind suddenly went to the Pizza place at Duarte and I thought, "Why not? We haven't gone to a lot of Arcadia restaurants."

I'm strangely attracting bugs recently. Today in TA, a bug randomly flew down and landed on my desk. I poked it and it stayed there and walked around. So I poked it again. Same result. How queer.

So I was sitting at my desk, minding my own business when my hand just shot out and caught something. Extremely weird. Look what I caught!

The wings are really interesting and delicate looking, I'm glad I didn't accidentally catch it by the wings ._.

Got a checking account today. Apparently the bank makes one for high schoolers. Hm. Today is also the first time I fell asleep at the bank. The banker took so long I just took a few naps.

I was supposed to be silent for Invisible Children for 25 hours. I think I lasted around 23 hours. It's still pretty good, I think. I'm afraid I looked awfully ridiculous wearing that baggy shirt and waved my hands around like a lunatic though. Oh well, all for a good cause :)

Random but yesterday, I saw the most amount of disgusting things in my life. From rotting flesh from a cut open hand to missing flesh in the knee.

Beware of unexpected things on the internet, as always.

However, I would like to add that I was not quite scared or disgusted than I should have been. I guess watching Heroes had prepared me for it.

Speaking of Heroes, I find it sort of stupid like the acting and the bad editing but it's strangely addictive. But really, the people who edit the show really need to be fired. Maybe the director too. It's so inconsistent and sometimes when they end an episode and later on start in the same spot, the script is different. It's along the same thing but the script is altered slightly. It bothers me. I constantly question myself why I am still watching it. Whoop dee doo.

Sophomore year is coming to an end. It's time to pull my academic life together. It's so time and energy consuming; Planning I mean. So many decisions and time is running out.

I hope I know within the next few years what I'm going to do. Medical path for now. Curse the stereotypical path.
